Go with confidence. By "go with confidence" I mean act like you know you belong there. Don't wait to be treated like you do. I've been to Two Rivers a few times and here's what I've noticed: I am treated like I belong there if I go with my boyfriend; but not if I go alone. (I'm 23, so I look fairly young, which I guess doesn't fit into a place like that?) When I got my hair done, they had some pretty rediculous add-on fees and the girls weren't particularly professional. They are clearly trained to ask if the client would like something to drink, which my stylist did - I answered, "yes, I'd like a water please." I'm not sure if she didn't hear me or forgot to listen, but she never acknowledged my answer and never got the drink she offered. The massage is the best there and the pedicure isn't bad. They seem to have the appropriate add ons to the other non-spa places around town. The stylist center does, not, however - so save your money there.
Felt like the last customer of the day.
I accompanied my friend for their Signature treatment, the Hawaiian Honey Steam wrap. The Massage therapist that took care of me was Andrea Charles. And while she was a nice person, my treatment was not the enjoyable experience I was expecting.
Here is what happened:
? Each part of the treatment seemed to go very quick. As Andrea applied the salt scrub, removed, applied the honey, and then wrapped me for the steam room, it was all very rushed and was not relaxing at all.
? After the steam, we were taken back to our rooms to have the mango lotion applied. Andrea actually asked me "Do you just want to stand and I'll apply the lotion really quick....or I guess you can lie down under this blanket if you prefer". I was in shock that she gave me an option to stand undressed and skip lying down for the completion of the treatment. I kindly let her know I'd prefer to lie down under the warm blanket.
This was my first experience at a spa, and in my opinion could have been much more relaxing. To come to a beautiful spa such as Two Rivers and spend $90, I do not want to leave feeling like "the last customer of the day".
I sent the above detail in a letter to Two River's management asking for a refund. They never contacted me to address the complaint.
AWESOME PEDICURE. TWO RIVERS SPA IN EAGLE, IDAHO ROCKS MY WORLD! I TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT HIS FEET WERE OUT OF CONTROL ... I SENT HIM TO THIS SPA AND I AM NOT KIDDING ... I DIDN'T MIND THE SNUGGLE THAT NIGHT! WHATEVER THAT WOMAN DID ... WAS NOTHING LESS THAN AMAZING. HIS FEET WERE SMOOTH AND I DIDN'T HEAR HIS FEET SNAG THE SHEETS ONCE IN THE NIGHT! HE'S SIGNED UP FOR A FOUR WEEK TOUR!
Please dont waste you time or money!!!!. I just moved here and wanted my hair done in a relaxing spa. I thought Two Rivers might be the place. The hair area of the spa was too crowded. The girls were unprofessional. You should'nt have to listen to your syltist answer her cell phone. Everyone was gossiping and making fun previous clients. My stylist tried to pressure me into buying products that she didn't use on me. I was charged for having extra long hair (my hair is about 1" past shoulder). Then I was told if I wanted my hair to look like the picture I brought I shouldve just dyed it (which wouldve been about $40 less). To top it off I was asked how much I would like to tip my stylist infront of several quests. I spent $145 on a foil and hair cut. Please dont waste your time or money on this place!
Good Staff and GREAT service. I have never been treated so great when I had a pedicure as I did while I was here. The girls are so cute and nice It was a amazing experience.
