Wish I could give it a 0 – Bridal Couture! I went in to get a flirt dress and the lady told me it was $500.00. I did some research on line and found the same dress for $299.99. NEVER COMING BACK! PRICES ARE WAY TO HIGH.
I ordered the dress from this site called DealsOnDress and it fit perfectly. Best part about it I didn't pay a extra $200!!
P.S. When I came to your store you don't have to tell me how you are better than the other bridal stores.
What Customer Service ??? – I live part of the time in a small town outside of Boise. I went to Bridal Couture in search of a wedding dress. I walked into the store that was unattended, I browsed with no greeting or acknowledgement for about 15-20 minutes. I was pleased to see the beautiful selection of gowns they carry. I selected a few I wanted to try on and still no sales staff to be found. I went closer to their office and said Hello anyone there and then a young college girl walked out, and I asked if I could try on the gowns I selected. I am quite petite and without any help or intended help I managed to try on some dresses. I did buy a dress from this store because I really liked one and paid in full the very next day and got the dressed ordered. The customer service I received was absolutely terrible!! I practically did everything my self and no one ever did anything to make me feel like a bride buying a dress for such a special occasion . I'm glad other reviews say they were pleased with the service, but for me it was worst that going shopping at Wallmart at least I get greeted as soon as I walk in. I am sure the management that read this will not even remember who I am because they didn't even bother to aks what I needed.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. – This is my first (and last!) wedding and I had no idea where to start. We went to another bridal shop in Boise and were drastically disappointed in their level of customer service and ability to help us out. Luckily, I went to Bridal Couture. The moment I walked in (with seven girls in my entourage) they were happy to help. I showed them a photo of the style of dress I was interested and they helped us pull a variety of gowns and accessories. Their staff was outrageously friendly and did all they could to help us stay within our budget without sacrificing the quality of the gown. I found a dress that brought tears to my eyes and there were able to make it affordable. They accommodated our methods of payment and made me feel like a princess--like it was MY day. And it was. I would recommend Bridal Couture and especially Andrea who helped us. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
WOW Bridal Couture – I was a bride at "David's Bridal" and I received the best treatment a bride could ask for!!!! And yes they DID take my measurements before ordering my gown. And wouldn't you know it, it FIT when it arrived. One month after picking up my dress I found out I was pregnant and went back to David's and told them my situation and how I just knew the dress would not fit in 4 months time. The staff was very understanding and brought out this amazing alterations manager and we decided on a new size. David's Bridal exchanged my dress for a new size and when it came to alterations they worked with me and my changing body all the way until it fit perfect on my wedding! Your response was immature and in poor business taste!!! Your salon was one of the first places I went, and I could not believe the shape it was in.Torn dresses and RUDE customer service. I came into this site to worn others about your salon and could not believe you had the nerve to put down another bridal salon when yours is in such dismay.
In Response to "Muchen" – At Bridal Couture - like all other specialty bridal shops (not Davids' Bridal), we take measurements when the bride decides on her dress and puts money down. We DO tell each and every bride all the details as far as:
1. The dress will never fit perfect in every area. You may be a size 6 in the chest but a size 12 in the waist. Thus, you HAVE to order the size 12 and get the dress altered.
2. All manufacturers measure there dresses different - ie. you may be a size 6 in one vendors dress and a 12 in another.
3. When you have a fitting, you must where the bra you plan on wearing on the wedding date(Muchen did not do this)
4. We cannot help it if a bride gains weight in the 6 months leading up to her wedding. This happens often and we are put in a bad position - we do not like having to re-measure and say, "I told you so".
We have been in business for over 8 years now and have had very, very few unhappy customers. Unfortunately you can't please everyone.
Don't Go Here – I had a terrible experience with this dress shop. We ordered my dress five in advance based on their measurements and expertise. When the dress arrived, it didn't fit at all. When I called to discuss it, they told me it was my fault for a different bra then when I was measured and a number of other reasons that they should have warned me about before the week of my wedding. Don't go here if you want a flawless dress and experience.
Very hepful staff. – The customer service was outstanding! I couldn't believe how helpful the sales person was. She even directed me to a competitors' store when they didn't carry what I was looking for. Took the time to make sure I had all my needs addressed. Which made me feel very important while shopping for attire for my "special" day.
