Best resturaunt in Boise. This is just a flat out amazing restaurant. While it would be generally a bad idea to order seafood in Boise so far from the ocean Louie's fantastic fisherman's stew was the best you'll ever have. The pasta and various other Italian fare is also fantastic. It is right in downtown Boise and has a wonderful atmosphere in that its right in the middle of everything. Parking is a bit of a challenge so I'd suggest parking near on a street instead of trying to get into the small parking lot right next to the restaurant. It has a relatively romantic atmosphere and I've seen many prom/ winters etc, couples going there before a dance. Just a great restaurant no wonder its been a Boise staple so long...

Don't Bother. I can not believe this place has been open for 40 years.... We had pasta and it was just awful! The service was very slow. I will not return.

Best Pizza in Idaho. We have been known to drive 350 miles just to have pizza at Louie's. The Basque pizza is the best.
