A Real Sleeper. You wouldn't think you'd get good pizza at a bargain based grocery store. But, Leonardi's inside Winco Foods stores is terrific and the best value in town, bar none. The choices are a bit limited, but they have most of the popular toppings. We usually get a large (oh, wait, that's all they do) thin crust Supreme (Canadian bacon, sausage, ham, pepperoni, black olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, red onions). It's enough for the two of us for dinner and lunch the next day. The crust is very good, the toppings are all fresh, the cheese is the real thing and the sauce is decent (if they would put a little work into the sauce, they would probably have a product that would embarrass a lot of NY and Chicago pizzerias). And, while so many other pizzas "flying around town' are getting so expensive, Leonardi's is not. With the coupon from the box of the last one you bought, the Supreme is $10.98 if you have them bake it, $9.98 if you take it home and do it yourself. There's no delivery, but I like just giving them a call and jumping in the car. I pick up a bottle of wine and another item or two and head right to the front of the store where my pizza is coming out of the oven. So, it's fast and easy. Did I say I like this place?
