Run down hotel, with friendly staff.
The Cabana Inn is easily one of the worst places I have ever stayed in the United States. I would not have stayed here, but the town was sold out due to a large soccer tournament. My only other option was 50 miles away in Oregon.
The owners are very nice, but are from a 3rd world country. It appears they have brought their accommodation philosophies to Idaho with the Cabana Inn. It's kind of clean, very run down, with cinder block walls. It reminds me of places I've stayed at in Asia, or South America for $3-$10 dollars a night. So if you feel like traveling to a 3rd world country and don't want to travel that far, come and stay at this place.
My air conditioner in my room sounds like a pair of work boots in the clothes dryer, and its 90+ outside. I also have serious doubts about the neighborhood, as it appears they are going to re-make the movie Deliverance, and the perspective cast is outside.
