A-MAY-ZING. Lisa and Crystal are heaven sent!! Lisa has been my waxer for almost 10 yrs and I wouldn't dream of letting anyone else attempt my brows...or anything else for that matter. Crystal is a hair goddess! No matter what I want to do with my hair she can pull it off and make it look effortless. I would follow these two ANYWHERE!!

DV8 is Amazing!. Congrats to Lisa and Dusty for making DV8 one of the best salons in Boise! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming yet cutting edge. The front desk goddesses go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and the staff is first rate. Thank you for making Boise beautiful ladies!

Royally disappointed.. I understand that the stylists rent chairs here, so I'm sure there are some great colorists, but I just returned home from an appointment and have been in tears for about 30 minutes now. My hair is medium-dark brown. I asked for an almost ombre look (like drew barrymore or giuliana rancic's hair) with dark on the top fading down to blonde at the tips. I look like i walked into a Great Clips at closing time and asked for the pepperoni $5.95 special. my hair is the same brown as before all over, except for STREAKS of "blonde" and orange all the top of my head where i part my hair. I showed my stylist 6 pictures of exactly what I wanted, and she threw around some jargon then started right away with the dying.

my hair is my thing. my THING. I'm absolutely livid. Also, it was the most I've ever spent on a hair appointment in my life at $135. It was a birthday present to myself that I have been saving for. I'm completely disgusted and couldn't feel worse about it.

If you choose to check this place out - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you're getting a styling/colorist who knows their stuff. I'm sure there are some great ones there...don't be afraid to demand one.

Waxing. Lisa Rocks! I have never been to anyone so great and I have been waxing for 15 years and lived all over. She is the best.

jodi rocks!. I have had my hair cut and colored by others, but no one has compared. Many stylists are scared of coloring; Jodi always knows exactly what to do and how to do it!!! For a "color-specialist" her cuts are impressive as well! She is always learning new techniques and continues to amaze me! Not only is she quite talented, she is adorable and friendly as can be!!!

I have visited Dv8 salon and it is very nice. It is hip, clean, and full of natural light.

Fantastic Experience. I took a chance with DV8 after I felt like my last hairdresser was a little too brash with me and it paid off! I had an awesome experience with Kristin! I had black hair color that I wanted to lighten and she did a fantastic job. Not only was she as nice as nice can be, she was also very professional and talented. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she did what she thought was the best from there and it turned out great. I have really thick and coarse hair and she did a great job thinning, dying, and styling my hair. I would recommend the salon and Kristin to anyone!!!
