Great service from Dale!. Dale Tu cut, colored and styled my hair today. I gave him free rein and he did a wonderful job coaching me from lengthy hair to a nice short - and manageable - length.

Salon 117 has a very nice atmosphere, with coffee on hand for customers and lovely industrial architecture.

Very inviting, very well trained stylists, overall a great spot to get your hair pampered, although be warned - these folks take the time to make sure you're completely satisfied, so schedule a little more time than you would at a quick cuts spot.

Barb specializes in DREADLOCKS, DREAD PERMS, & EXTENSIONS. Anyone can have dreads! If you are looking for DREADLOCKS in the Boise & Treasure Valley area, GO SEE BARB. See is currently working at Salon 117 in the Boise downtown area It is a great salon with an urban feel. She gave me a FREE consultation and answered all my questions honestly. We then booked an appointment. Barb had all the information I needed to make the decision. She made me feel secure in my choices. I loved it!

A fine salon. A lovely salon, conveniently located on Grove Street in Boise. From my first visit, I experienced an overall good feeling. The folks working there seem to genuinely care and are quite accommodating. The price for services? Less than what I expected from such a fine establishment!

I'll keep going back :)

Horable. I hated what they did to me! I had to go get my hair fixed by a real proffesional.

For as much as I paid! There is no way in hell I would recomend them to ANYBODY!

Benn going there for over 20 years.... Suzy is my girl... :) I've been getting my hair cut by Suzy, one of the co-owners since she was 19, that was back in 1980, or so... I don't see her often enough! Her sister Angie is the other owner. A fun atmosphere. If you're not stuffy and like a little fun, check them out!
