Martinizing Dry Cleaner on Washington Street ruined my $300 new Kenneth Cole coat. I went to pick it up and it had a hole in the back with a big black ring around it, were a very small food spot had been. The hole is not little either it is 1.5in in dimeter. In shock that my coat actually had a hole I ask for them to refund me or help me in some way but the employee (Kevin) fought with me for 30min and told me they couldn't see it and it was not ruined. As time went on he kept changing his story. First he said he saw it, then he said he couldn't even see it, he cleaned, no someone else cleaned ect... I would NOT recommend going there and if you do don't let Kevin clean or help you.

Worst customer service I have ever had!

Furniture Row / Boise Id Laminate wood floor gouge / total repair cost $160.00

They have their own Legal Dept ? I thought they were a funiture store.?

They required of me while moving into my newly built home to submit to them a picture of the damage, obtain 3 estimates of repair and then they pay the amount of the lowest bid. They dont lift a finger to right their own wrong. You do it all and they write a check when you finish correcting the damage they caused.

NEVER BUY FROM FURNITURE ROW

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

UPS BIG BROWN Refuses to deliver a package then says I refused the shipment. What I said was to return it to the shipper and let them ship it by some one who will deliver it. Like Fex Ex Ground. It is not my fault you will not secure a 4 wheel drive for your driver.

i have just had oil changed in my discovery at k&h quick lube in mtn home..First of all the grease monkeys critized my choice of oil[castrol] and were very condesending towards me [i should have left then] After paying for this service !!! i left...Had only driven about ten yards when smoke started pouring out from under my hood,,,I pulled into a driveway near Walmart and raised my hood..Oil was all over the engine....The oil cap was on so i turned around and went back...The three grease monkeys came over when i called them and raised my hood [it was still smoking] and laughed..One said well i washed it off once so what!..I told them that i would never use them again and i was going to report the shoddy service. They were still laughing about it when i drove off...They picked the wrong lady this time to mess with.......Have heard simular reports from friends this morning about k&h quick lube

Republic Parking Northwest. So, I paid my $25.00 parking ticket to Republic Parking Northwest, but I only paid it in 20 days and apparently it was due in 14 days. They whacked me with a whopping $25 late fee. Really? Most creditors are happy to be paid within 20 days, 14 days is bad. $25 late fee is really bad business, too, a $5 or $10 late fee I could handle. Way to punish people for being your customers. I will walk a mile before I park in a Republic Parking Northwest lot ever again.

Imagine Photography. Imagine Photography has a great website with lots of information BUT- getting a response from them is almost impossible. My daughter was a resident at a Nampa nursing home and had pictures taken by Imagine Photography in early December 2011. The proof & an order package was given to her the middle of December but we didn't have a chance to order one of their packages before she passed away at Christmas.

I have left a voice mail and sent a minimum of 4 e-mails through their website with no response of any kind!!! This was the last very nice picture of my daughter before she died and I wanted to buy a package to be sure her children and the rest of the family has that nice memory of her- rather than the tough times!

I work in the customer service arena and know that word of mouth will kill your business if you do not respond to questions or concerns. I definitely would not recommend this business to anyone.

Music lessons on Duck Lane, Nampa, ID. The greed and lack of professional courtesy of Becky a music teacher in Nampa, Idaho needs to be reported to help prevent others from making the same mistakes I made. My son wanted guitar lessons so we went to our local Music Shoppe and got a flyer off of the bulletin board. I called the teacher and set up a time for lessons. The only times she had available were 8 or 8:30 pm. We agreed on $60/mo. She called at 2:45 the day of the lesson to ask if I could bring him at 3:30 instead that day because she had a cancellation. She was all business. My gut feeling was if I had a schedule conflict, I would have to foreit the time and money, but since she wanted the change, it was expected. It took 30 minutes to get to her house so I was late(of which she reminded as though it was my fault). We spent the first 1/2 hour lesson going over her administrative paper work, instead of actually receiving a lesson. She took 20 minutes to run over me like a freight train with her agenda. The contractor doesn't get paid for giving a bid. She handed me a sheet with costs I would need to incur. A registration fee of $45 was on it. I was shocked because she had not informed me of it on the phone and because she worked out of her home. She told me this would be for copies of sheets needed and recital locations. The recitals are optional but we still had to pay the registration fee whether we participated or not. And she proceeded to tell me to make 20 copies of something even though copies were supposed to be part of the registration fee. I was fine with the cost of the music lessons and the expense of books, etc. Afterward, when I got to thinking about it, it seemed like unusual business policy. I signed the contract she gave me. I thought about it and got an increased foreboding as the next "lesson" approached. I decided we needed to cancel. My son and I did not like her pushy and self serving business practices. I called her and asked her for a refund before May's lessons got started. She said no it was nonrefundable, that she had set aside those spots for my son. There was no offer for compromise for a refund or room for questions or concerns of mine. She also said she had felt a 'weird' 'very weird' feeling from me when she mentioned the registration fee. I said no kidding it was a shock and she should have told me of this expense when we set up the time on the phone for the first meeting. She again used Christian Ease to dominate the confrontation by saying she felt 'so' much judgement from me. She said she didn't feel she needed to justify herself. At that point I told her I would report her to the BBB and I hung up. There was no way I could reason with her. A week later I received a letter from her in the mail offering to honor the remaining prepaid lesson times. Incredible! Why would we want to subject ourselves to further manipulation?

It has been my experience in the past with other music teachers that there is an introductory period to make sure the student and teacher will be compatible. Unbelievably, there was no allowance for this.

Valley Tool, Chinden Blvd, Boise. I've been buying misc tools and having equipment serviced at Valley Tool for around 20 years now. It's a family business, with both common, and hard to find hand and power tools.

In the 1st place, VT sells great equipment. I purchased my Snapper lawnmower 12 years ago, and it ran flawlessly for 11 years -- impressive, for the amount of abuse this machine takes. It was having a starting problem, and I took it into VT, fully expecting to trade this faithful machine on a new one. Dave, the owner, could have made a lot more profit on me if he had simply let me go that route. Instead, he kept my best interest in mind and suggested that the lawnmower could be serviced, and give me another decade of service. I took his advice, paid a very reasonable servicing fee, and the lawnmower runs like the day I bought it.

Last winter, I bought a used snowblower someone had on consignment at VT. I got it up to my cabin 2 hrs away, and darn -- the thing wouldn't start. Even though there's no warranty on used equipment, the guys at VT realized that it would be a pain for me to haul the snowblower all the way back to Boise to have it looked at, and supported me in figuring out the problem. The listened to my explanation of the issues, narrowed the problem down to the most likely cause, and sent me back to the cabin with parts and a tool in hand (in this case, as new spark plug and deep socket). Problem solved!

The folks at Valley tool have expert knowledge well beyond the big box stores, very reasonable pricing, high integrity, and a keen focus on customer service. I find it hard to justify going anywhere else for this type of tools.

Steelz in Meridian Dishonest business. I purchased a rug at this store and went to return it less than a week later with all tags still attached, the rug just didn’t work when I got it home. The store told me that they do not take returns and everything is sold as is. However, Steelz receipt says

“RETURN POLICY: We want you to be satisfied with your purchases, but we reserve the right to refuse the return of any item at our discretion. Keep your receipt for all returns”

Steelz website states “We want you to be satisfied with your purchases and will gladly accept returns however we reserve the right to refuse the return of any item at our discretion. Keep receipt for all returns. Unfortunately we do not cover the cost of shipping unwanted items back to us.

Please mail or bring items to:

Steelz - Returns

280 E. Corporate Drive #140

Meridian, ID 83642

We are happy to replace, exchange, credit or refund - the choice is yours.”

They DO NOT take returns and I was told that is why they have the statement that they can refuse a return. I also asked for in-store credit so they didn’t have to refund money and again I was told that “all sales are final and we will not return an item just because you don’t like it when you get it home. That is why our prices are low” This was the second time I bought at this store and have spent hundreds of dollars there. This is the first time I ever tried to return anything!

DO NOT shop here if you expect good customer service and expect a business to abide by what they advertise!

Steelz should not post this return policy on their web page or print this on their receipt if they have no intention of following it! Just another example of a business that says whatever they need to make a sale!
