In Short
Admittedly kitschy, unavoidably noisy, this Red Lobster for rug rats is like an oversized seaside shanty awash in oceanic memorabilia--fishing nets, souvenir trinkets, plastic flotsam and jetsam. Staffed with a lively crew of G-rated table-dancing servers, the family-friendly chain anchors its menu in all things crab: Crab balls, crab cakes, crab dip, crab gumbo. Finicky children opt for corndogs or hamburgers; shellfish-phobic adults dine on rib eye steak or mesquite-grilled chicken.

Never going back :(. This was my first trip to Joe's Crab Shack and I was greatly disappointed. The decorations looked like yard sale junk nailed to the walls. Also the smell when approaching the front entrance was horrific and should have been a sign not to even go in. I ordered the coconut shrimp which wasn't half bad and my dining partner ordered the fish and shrimp combo. We were served about six fries with our meals and upon asking about the portion size the reason for the shortage on fries was a new owner. The fish had no flavor whatsoever and the consistency of it was no good (much to slimy). The best part of the meal was my bahama mama so hat's off to the bartender. We will never again give this restaurant our business. If you are a lover of seafood this is not the restaurant for you. Actually, this is not the restaurant for anyone!! Please save your money and eat in. Wish I had. Total cost of our meals was around 35 dollars. What a waste.
