Incredibly Underwhelmed. I have been to many wonderful Aveda salons in various cities (Portland, Phoenix, Seattle, Chicago, and even Boise), and have consistently had amazing experiences with stylists, estheticians, and massage therapists. This salon was completely substandard, from the lewd conversation between staff, dirty retail area, and being made to wait an extra 30 min after my scheduled appointment time because my stylist, Mandy, decided to take a long lunch. All of this could have been overlooked had the color and cut been acceptable. I change my haircolor and cut ofter, and am always ready to try a new style, however, this color was uneven and showing roots withing 3 days. The cut was crooked, and not in a fashionable way. The next time I am in town, I will return to Rain Salon in Meridian, or Graeber's Salon in Boise for a true Aveda experience.

My Hairdresser Rocks. Cherie, my hair stylist is wonderful. She is a dream with color and cut, is calm and delightful. Complimentary hand massage is included in her services. The last time I was in I invited her to just get creative with a short asymmetrical cut. It's been 2 months and I'm still getting tons of compliments on my "makeover."

Not a good experience. I used Synergy as my hair & makeup place for my wedding and I had a few practice owns first to make sure it was right. The first time she didn't get my wedding hair right (and it only needed to be adjusted slightly and I was more than nice about it) my hair dresser (Mandy) threw a big fit and make a big scene and I could feel her making faces and talking about me the entire rest of the time and all the others were going along with her drama. I felt like the elephant in the room. It was very uncomfortable and she eventually threw a big enough fit, gave up, and passed me on to someone else because my hair was "too thick". its your job, do it. by the way, Mandy's mom owns it so she gets away with all the B.S. she wants. It has been drama every other time I go in there. Thankfully the girl that ended up getting my hair done was really nice and did a great job. I had a great experience with the girl that did my makeup too. I think her name was Lindsey

Wonderful Salon. I went for the first time today. I was very impressed with the whole experience. I loved the atmosphere. The staff was very professional and helpful. The hairdresser assigned to me offered a hand massage while I waited for my color to take. The young lady at the reception desk was very knowledgable about the products, and eager to help. I went away with a good feeling about the place. I will definitely return. I know there is one bad review, but I didn't find any of that while I was there today. Perhaps the person who left the bad review was there at a rare bad time, or is just an exceptionally grumpy person, and wouldn't be happy with anything. Don't hesitate to give the place a try. It was great. And the cost of service was not unreasonable.

Great energy!. I truly enjoyed my experience at Synergy Salon and Spa, the staff was extremely knowledgable and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The use and introduction of Aveda products was very useful and informative. This salon truly lives up to Aveda's mission and my expectations!

no synergy. the owners at synergy were very very very rude and vert unprofessional, the whole time i was there the staff talked about things that were unappropriate and meade me feel very uncomfortable. when i addressed the owner about my situation she was very ununderstanding and told me if i didn't like the atmosphere then i could take my business elsewhere, so that is what i did.
