Tips for Anything Wireless

October 26, 2012

BEST SERVICE EVER I decided to go through Anything Wireless vs. the DirecTv because they're local for one it's small I get to deal with the same person each time I call or been called not just calling some random call center. The sales rep I talked to made me so happy because while talking to him he made everything simple to understand and quickly found the perfect package for me I was immideatly called after talking to the sales person by a sweet lady to get me set up with an installation date and I was able to get it the SAME DAY the man who installed everything was so nice and handeled everything from moving anything needing to be moved to also explained to me the way everything worked so I could easily get started! I was so happy that there was no wait or hassle not only was it easy to get the things set up but a few days after the sale and install they called me just to make sure I was happy and that everything was working okay I did actually have some issues with the billing but that was on the DTV end not Anything Wireless issue however when I called and asked for help with my bill(before I knew they couldn't fix it) they were so very helpful and got me the number I needed and some tips on what to say to make the call to DTV much faster and easier. All in all I had a fantastic experiance would most defiately recommend Anything Wireless to everyone I know like I said before BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!

Awful - wish I would have read the reviews first. I signed up for the bundle package. Thought it would be a good deal. I am sooooo upset with the installer from Anything Wireless, Dish Network, and Clear internet and phone service.

First, I find out that although I paid extra for HD channels, the installer did not connect my TV through the HD ports to the receiver. I am thankful my brother noticed this, as I never would have. Seems very deceitful to me.

I called Dish Network to inquire about a grace period of 3 days I was told I had. They said it does not exist. I explained that the dish was not connected properly and don't want to continue doing business with them. He hung up on me in the middle of my sentence.

Clear has had horrible service. I'm surprised I am able to even write this message. Although, I have 5 bars for my signal, the connection is slower than dial-up. I will be contacting them about this, but unfortunately already know I will be fighting to get anything.

Lastly, I hooked up a home phone mainly for emergency purposes, since we have wireless. I was not informed that 911 services do not work on Clear phone service. I asked several times over the phone when I was signing up if it operated just the same as a regular landline. I was told it did. When I received the equipment to set it up. It read that if I dial 911, it does not go to local emergency services, and that it may not work at times, and it is dependent upon the internet connection. Well, that certainly makes me feel safe. (sarcasm)

I am very sorry I ever signed up with any of the companies listed, but I will fight and will call every official I can and post it to every website and social networking format that I can to bring these crooks out in the open. I hope you will all do that as well with your bad experiences. They need to be held accountable!!

anything wireless in boise. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DONE BUINESS WITH! THEY DID A Horrible JOB INSTALLING DIRECT TV, THEY MADE MY WIFE RE ARANGE ALL THE HEAVY FURNITURE BY HERSELF, BECAUSE THE INSTALLERS WERE TO LAZY TO GO UNDER THE HOUSE AND RUN THE CABLE TO THE OTHER SIDE IF THE ROOM WHEN I CALLED TO HAVE IT PUT IN THE WRIGHT PLACE, THEY ONLY RETURNED MY CALL AFTER I CALLED 3 TIMES AND SENT A EMAIL THREATINING WITH BBB, THEN THEY ASURED ME THEY WOULD BE OUT THE NEXT DAY AT 5:00 TO FIX IT, THEY NEVER SHOWED AND NEVER EVEN CALLED TO SAY THEY COULDNT MAKE IT ,!!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE HORRIBLE,, UNPROFESSINAL AND LAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Technician. My tech was Levi. He really did a very good job and I enjoyed working with him a lot. He was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. I love the service!

HORRIBLE!!!. This is the absolute WORST place you can possibly get Dish Network from. Go anywhere, but here (this is assuming you MUST have Dish, which I will get into further in this review). I signed up with these guys 90 days ago. My first receiver box was broken. I endured days upon days with Dish Network's miserable (and rude) technical support people only to find out it was a faulty box. Meanwhile, I was paying for this stupid satellite service all along. They finally switched out my box, and decided to issue me a FIVE DOLLAR credit for "my trouble." They refused to do anything more than that. Gee, thanks. Also, turns out, the bone heads at Anything Wireless totally set up my dish incorrectly, so the next 60 days after getting my new receiver, I had a bad picture, kept losing satellite reception...it was absurd. I kept asking myself, why oh why did I EVER leave cable??? Not worth saving a few bucks...do not listen to those stupid ads! You get what you pay for, trust me on this!

By the time the technical bugs finally got all ironed out, I had to move out of state for work. I was told at the beginning of my contract (by the Anything Wireless guys), NO WORRIES, you just take your box with you, and get re-set up in your new state, no hassles, no charges. And if you move to a place that doesn't let you set up your dish, they will let you out of your contract. Easy Peasey.....Well, the latter happened (I am moving into a new downtown high-rise)....and low and behold, Dish Network is leaving me on the hook for a $350 cancellation fee. Absolutely nothing I can do about it. Not only did Anything Wireless lie through their teeth about the terms of the contract to me....the 90 days I did have service, it was a miserable, worthless, expensive exercise. I didn't get to record or see any of my favorite shows....what a waste. I could have gotten more out of just watching HULU for FREE.

Stay away from these people. They are LIARS and incompetent. Also, STAY AWAY FROM DISH NETWORK!!! A miserable company to deal with, with unreliable products, snot-nosed customer service reps who try to make YOU feel stupid when THEIR equipment doesn't work....and charge HUGE fees to get out of their contracts.

I guess at the end of the day $350 is a bargain to be DONE with this miserable group of people. I assure, when I am done posting reviews on both of these companies, it will cost them ten fold that in business. Thanks to the internet, there is some accountability for companies like these!

Beware if you do business with these people....the installers will literally SHOVE the paperwork in your face as they are leaving....and say "sign here, here and here....It's all good!" They never discuss cancellation fees, and that is a LIE OF OMISSION. Unethical, Immoral and unprofessional.

Oh, and lastly, they broke a very expensive pendant lamp while installing my equipment. Could it get any worse????

RUN.

Words Can't Describe, But I'll Try...dishonest, slow, incompetent, unreasonable, etc. I signed up for Dish Network through them, in part, because they are local. Big mistake. When I moved and Dish Network said they could not install service there, I had to pay $150 fee to them for canceling, plus an ADDITIONAL $300 to Anything Wireless. Even though none of it was my fault that they couldn't get reception at my new place. I was never notified of the two fees, and only found out about the extra $300 after Anything Wireless direct debited my checking account. After confronting them regarding this exorbitant and unfair fee, they (Margaret) were dishonest with me again and again. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
