Absolutely Horrible - Never Go!. Zero Star Rating!

This was my Christmas present from my boyfriend. He finally got around to scheduling my spa day which included manicure, pedicure, facial, hair coloring, and a massage.

The pedicure was a slight let down because she didn't have a massage chair like the other places I have gone too but the quality of her work was fine.

Next was the facial which was great.

Next the hair stylist. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! She was incredibly slow in everything she did. She completely messed up my color. She had contacted me the day before asking what I wanted, I tried explaining that I wanted all over blonde with copper highlights. She apparently did not understand so I sent her pictures of what I wanted.

When I got there she asked if I wanted to be as blonde as the picture - I said close to it but not as blonde (I had platinum blonde hair in the picture) She said okay.

She was horribly slow with everything she did, the whole time it felt like she had no idea what she was doing - even putting clips in my hair seemed like a struggle for her.

She was about half way done foiling my hair when the receptionist came in to tell her her next appointment was there - then she seemed rushed and I was nervous because she was scrambling. She set me under the dryer and it didn't seem like I was under there long enough for the bleach to reach the color I wanted. But she took off my foil saying it was ready, washed my hair but did not blow dry my hair - she didn't even offer.

When she spun me around I could tell I didn't like it - it was not what I had asked for at all. So I told her I thought there would be more blonde all over. She said it looked dark because my hair was wet and sent me off to my massage.

The massage was fine - the floors were so creaky though I never did relax.

Afterwards, I told the receptionist I didn't like my hair and asked to use the blow dryer I had seen in the restroom. The colors were hideous. I can't believe the stylist messed up my hair despite having sent her pictures! All she did was add blonde and RED highlights to my brown hair. I asked for Blonde all over with COPPER highlights.

Now I look like a 15 year old skank. Not only did she ruin my hair, she didn't offer to fix it. When I asked her to she said she had no time. I asked if she could make time. No - but you can wait until I am done for the day for me to fix it then. Terrible service!

If she didn't understand my request, or felt like she wasn't able to carry it out she should have told me instead of letting me deal with the product of an incompetent stylist.

Not only did it ruin my day but I don't even feel like I got a massage.....or any kind of relaxing day.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

Do not go to serenity retreat if you are looking for a relaxing day.
