Very expensive!! Saved $260.00 on an Ice Machine repair by going with someone else. They wanted to charge $480.00 total for parts and labor. I got it done for $220.00. Unfortunately they did get to walk away with the first $68.00 for telling me my machine needed replaced. But I won't be calling them again.

Overpriced & rude service. I called Dave's Appliance last month because my dryer was making noises.

The Technician that came out charged me over $100 for approximately 20 minutes labor to replace a pully. He did not tell me what the labor cost would be, just the total cost of the repair. He was very short with me. When he left and I saw the labor cost, I called the office to ask what their labor charge per hour was. The woman who answered said that they didn't have a set charge, and that the technicians determined their own charges. That didn't sound right to me and I asked to have the manager call me. I've called a couple of times since and have never gotten a return call. They don't seem to care about repeat business, and I know I will not use them again.

WAY OVERPRICED. I wish I had checked this guys rating with the BBB beforehand. He has an F and a very bad rep. Obviously he's only been able to stay in business by grossly overcharging unsuspecting new customers, I can't imagine he has any returning customers. Had a leaky washer, he said it needed a new pump and the total price would be $224. (I bought this washer for $300 about 6 years ago.) However being already $68 into it just by having him diagnose, and having 5 peoples dirty clothing piling up I said ok. Less than 10 min later I pay him over $100 for his strenuous labor, and over $100 for a part I later looked up online and found for $30. I called several other companies the next day, gave them the scenario and asked what their charge would have been- about $140. Every company I called said he has a horrible reputation. I guess I know better next time and I hope you don't make the same mistake!

A Scam Artist. I was scammed by Dave himself, and it could have been worse had I not smelled a rat! AC quit, he "diagnosed" problem without examining the compressor, which had blown out. Called me with repair list and request for credit card #. His repairs included two new parts in furnace component and labor, billed at three times the fair value. AC still didn't work. He called with overpriced compressor options with credit for work already done. I shut him down and got a legit contractor who helped shine light on the scam to hook me into buying his overpriced $4,400 compressor. Turned out the earlier parts replaced were perfectly fine, reinstalled and used with the legit repairs. Dave would not accept return of the overpiced,unneeded, new parts. Offered 10% discount on bill if I didn't dispute. Do your homework and avoid this weasel.

What jerks and what a sham!!!. They scheduled me from 4pm to 6pm and called me at 5:50pm..I missed the call but called them right back and the customer service gal said she sent the tech home???? They called me at 10 mins. till the end of shift hoping Id miss the call. I reschedule for next day they dont call so I call them and ask whats going on they try to reschedule again. I told them I have already been rescheduled once so she puts me on hold for 10 mins trying to figure out what they can do. They come back on talking to me like I got lucky they were able to fit me in??? The operator gave the tech(found out it was the owner) the wrong address so he calls me in a condecending tone like I told them the wrong address. He gets here finally and obviously had a bad day cause honestly he was acting like a @#$%^&* ahole. Looks at my fridge for a second and says $380 to replace not fix or even try to fix a part. Then charges me $68 for being a jerk to me and his I could give a rats ass attitude. Please don't use these guys they suck.

WARNING!!! CUSTOMER BE WARE OF PRICE-GOUGING!!. I called for Dave's Appliance when the water dispencer on my fridge stopped working. Dave himself came to my house and after a quick analysis (and leaving a huge ding on the fridge door), he informed me that I would need to replace three parts due to possible calcium build up in the system. The cost? $68 for his trouble shooting visit and $360 for the replacment parts. THE PROBLEM, after doing a little research on-line I discovered that the parts were sold in a kit that costs ONLY $78 and Dave left a huge ding on my fridge door! That's a huge mark-up Dave... To add insult to injury, after being PRICE-GOUGED for the parts I opted to not have Dave do the actual repairs.My husband returned home from work 2 months later and fixed the fridge by simply replacing the filter. Very simply put, this man is a thief and an opportunist, if you don't do your homework he will take advantage of your lack of knowledge. I would strongly reccomend getting another opinion before doing business with Dave.
