Couldn't even find the leak!

Fred Pierce and the other technician that showed up were more interested in selling me a service contract than actually doing any work. After about 30 minutes they gave up finding the leak and suggested I call another guy they knew to find it. This sounds outrageous, but it's absolutely true. They spent more time giving me a sales pitch for a new furnace and air conditioner and water softener than resolving the problem. I had to make suggestions on where to look, because they seemed lost on how to go about even finding the problem. When they said they were going to write up an invoice for diagnosing the problem, I protested because they couldn't even find the source of the leak dripping from my shower through the floor. They agreed and were still going to charge me for coming out and doing absolutely nothing.

After they left, I found pieces of the shower faucet they had taken apart but not put back together. Also, wearing booties does no good if you walk outside in them and then back inside. Muddy prints were left in my shower. I will have to start over and call another plumber who can actually fix the leak. What a couple clowns!

Leak No More

First time in forever we had to call a plumber. The service was timely and professional and took care of a leak under the house. A bit pricy although that's what you likely pay unless you hire Shady Joe! Comes with a warranty which we hopefully don't have to use. Thanks, Shon!

Incopentent and Expensive

These guys took an entire day to try and find a leak in a wall, charged $200 to diagnose the problem, charged an added $200 to replace a shower cartridge (like they weren't already our here), and missed the problem completely. They didn't even have a camera to look inside the wall!

Another plumber diagnosed the problem within 20 minutes.

These guys are incompetent and a rip off. Avoid A1 Plumbing.

I will call A-1 again if we have problems

Fred has come and gone. He was able to resolve our problems very quickly without going into a whole drain unplugging exercise that wasn't necessary. This was a very honest approach. We only required a service call which was $29.00 instead of $99. Because Fred was so honest and didn't make the issue any greater than it really was I will call A-1 again if we have problems. It's refreshing to know that you have a neighbor in the business that is honest and trustworthy - I appreciate A-1 and Fred for having this approach.
