Had a few plumbing problems in our home. A few plumbing problems in our home . So we called these Plumbers from 2 Thumbs Up. They were quick to respond and talk about professional . I highly recommend this company. These Plumbers are honest and up front on their plumbing prices.

CONSUMER BEWARE: 2 Thumbs Up Plumbing in Boise Idaho improperly installed my new toilet in May 2011, causing an undetectable slow leak which resulted in a frozen sewage waste line, damaged flooring, and mold. . Two city code inspectors came today to inspect the work, and have indicated, in writing, that "a permit should have been taken out for the work done and the work was done unsatisfactorily. A leak around the toilet was caused by work not performed in a manner conforming to the UPC" (Uniform Plumbing Code). A civil penalty warning is being given and a double fee for permit. If it hadn't been for our long extremely cold temperatures causing the leak to freeze the drain line, it may have been many years before it was discovered. When we contacted 2 Thumbs Up Plumbing, they came over, saw the damage, and told us not to worry, that they would submit it to their insurance company, and it would be taken care of. They then told the insurance company that we had refused necessary repairs to install it without leaking. The insurance company without even sending anyone to look at it denied the claim indicating that their evidence showed they were not responsible for the damage. We will be sending them copy of city's findings. Guess that the BBB, State Licensing, and probably Small Claims or Civil Court could be the next steps.

A Premier Boise Plumbers Shop. My Husband and I are glad we called these plumbers and remodelers . We will use them again.

On time and Professional Plumbers. Thanks for the new waterheater that these plumbers installed we have hot water on demand again. Very happy we called these Honest Boise Plumbers. Showed up on time and everything went great!

I would not recommend 2 thumbs plumbing at all! I had a terrible experience with them on a very simple job. I got a quote from them on some work, but they failed to tell me about a $65 service call fee until they were already here. They told me a rate of $68 an hour, but didn't tell me how long the job would take. I estimated it was a 45 minute job, but took them two hours. They spent 30 minutes just holding a bucket trying to drain the water from the house! I had to call in another plumber after they left to finish the job and it only took them 45 minutes to do almost the exact same work.

They did not do the job that I had originally asked them to do. When I told them I was unhappy with the job they did, they only threatened me with a lien on my house rather than trying to work with me to resolve the problem. Stay away from this company!!

Warning!!. DO NOT EMPLOY THIS COMPANY. We had some basic kitchen plumbing to set up, and Joe installed equipment that was previously used and faulty, and he cut corners using a plastic part that should have been copper, resulting in the leak that ruined our brand new hardwood floor. A trained professional would not have used these parts. On top of all of that, he denied that he did anything wrong, claiming a slit in one of the hoses caused the leak, when there in fact was not a slit which we were able to show him. It get's worse. When we decided to file an insurance claim against him, he says he is insured, yet gave us false information, saying he was covered by an insurance company he was not covered by. THEN, when that company called him, he told them he was insured by another company and that turned out to be false.
