It's too bad that more places like Roe Ann aren't around anymore. Drive right up the road and you'll find a McDonalds and Sonic, with food that tastes the same as the food you'd find in any McDonalds or Sonic anywhere in the world. But make the decision to pull-in to the run down stalls or through the drive through at Roe Ann and you're in for the full flavor version. Hamburgers get their taste from the well aged grill and have sauce that was special sauce back before McDonalds had made a jingle about it. Corndogs, Burritos (fried), onion rings with whole onion and tarter sauce (the only real dipping sauce for onion rings) and a wide variety of other items are on the menu. Shakes are great and slushies are a welcome relief to summer heat. I always stop, multiple times, when I'm visiting home. The best food in Emmett, Idaho, hands down, is found at Roe Anns.

I go there everytime I come to Emmett. You have to try a Carmel coke, they have everything you can imagine. The food is awesome, I would much rather go there than anywhere else to eat. The prices are good too.

• Cons: Takes a while sometimes if they are busy, but its worth it
