Courtney King cut my hair according to the way it grows and lays, she used combs and a number of scissors. I have many cowlicks, I was able to style and fix it with no problem at all. I haven't had a real haircut in years. I can shampoo and run out the door and it lays beautifully. I also got a perm from Courtney, she and I decided giving the ends slight curl (I donot color) would give me alot of body and lift. It did! It doesnt look like "a perm head" and I recieve so many compliments on my hair, it looks like I curl it with the iron everyday but i don't have to. Also, my hair is very shiny and silky. I highly recommend Courtney King as a hair dresser.

Pros: She went above and beyond customer service and listened to me. And I love my hair.

Cons: There aren't any.

I simply cannot control myself from not going to Salon 162 to have Courtney King cut my hair. She is the brightest diamond when it comes to making you look your best. She has the utmost lovable personality and so fun to have around while having your hair all done up. If you want to have the prettiest hair along with a great big smile to go along with it then Courtney is just the Hair Artist for you! Don't hesitate one bit!!! - You won't be able to control yourself since you will find yourself there every weekend just to be in her presence. BEST HAIRCUT EVER!!!!!.....plus a smile.

I walked into this place after seeing the sign many times by my work. The stylists are very diverse but all friendly and nice. They had the best music in town. Maria was very professional and gave me the best haircut in my life plus she washed before I went back to work! They always have different artwork and drinks in the fridge. My coworkers and I love the place.

Pros: Everyone is nice and helpful.

I have been to Salon 162 on several occasions and Courtney King is always so pleasant. She is very helpful and her skills as a hair professional and pedicurist really shine through. She knows exactly what to do and I am always very pleased with the outcome. Her friendly and outgoing personality is inviting and her talent in this profession is what her clients like me coming back. Great job, keep up the good work and I will be seeing you soon. My experience at Salon 162 was absolutely extraordinary. The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is so beautiful and friendly. However the best part hands down is hair artist Courtney King! You can't help but love her. She is amazingly talented, has a vivacious personality, and is extremely professional. It is a must you set an appointment with her. Don't wait any longer visit Salon 162 now for a real treat!

I was looking for someone who actually wanted to do my hair, not be annoyed by my somewhat picky requests. I seem to get that alot! i was given Courtney's card by a friend at work. I was introduced to the other stylists working, given plenty to drink, and even a snack! I felt like I belonger there and never felt uncomfortable. She was very very helpful, educational, knew color, and i have never had a better haircut, or full experience! in short, Im a lifer.

So my stylist had a baby and I couldn't seem to find anyone to do what I wanted! I was either taken blonde when i wanted subtle highlights, or i had an inch or regrowth when i left a couple of salons! I don't wanna sound picky but I like to look good! I got Brandon's card from a friend at the co-op and gave him a call. He was very nice on the phone. When i met him I was a little timid due to the fact that he is covered in tattoos and so was my last guy that made me look like a punk rock mom! I told him what I want and he helped guide me to what i love now! He was very proffesional and taught me how to do my hair, how to keep it up and just made me look and feel good! I hope that he never leaves!!! See him! You won't regret it! I am so glad he moved here and is my new favorite! The other dark haired lady was so nice as well! I highly recomend this salon!
